ichigo

Today was a good day to end the week.

I had Minmaya again today and updated my English board and added a new section with a word search.  It was actually pretty hard since I used word searches that were made for English speaking people. The theme of the word search was some athlete, so there were a lot of familiar words and I also added some translations for others, so hopefully they will remember them!  I also added a leader board for fun.
I also brought my high school yearbook (アルバム)for the kids to look at since we were doing a lesson on clubs/sports in America.

After school, I took the train and got off a stop before my usual stop at Nakaoguni, to work in the field and garden again.
After getting off the train walking on my way to my friend's house, I saw one of the town's cars pass by me.  I wondered if it was someone I knew.  Then maybe a minute later, I see the same car come back towards me and it turns out it was one of my coworkers!  He wasn't sure it was me at first, but then he thought I was lost or something!  It was pretty funny, but I really must've looked like a lost child (迷子)or something because I didn't look like a local since I was wearing my office/work clothes, but also carrying a backpack.

In the field, we just replanted the eggplants, and then cleaned up the potato field.  There were a couple strawberries that were ready to be picked, so I was able to get those.  I also picked a lot of radish and cucumbers.  My friend also gave me pickles she made from the radishes.  I'm so lucky!
