１学期 お疲れ様！

To me, this first term went by so quickly, even though it seems to the other teachers it couldn't have gone by slower!  It also marks the completion of my first year in Aomori.  It feels bittersweet because I'm already thinking about how now every day could be my "last" one (although to be honest, I'm considering a third year).

This post has pictures from Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.  Thursday was my last day at Minmaya for the term, and I added a new section to my English board at the last minute.  My whole English board shows how ready I am for summer.  I also had shuji, so I'm posting a picture from there as well.

Friday was our 終業式 (ending ceremony) for the term, and then we had a nomikai (drinking party) at an Italian restaurant Piedmont (Piemonte??) in Aomori and then of course went to karaoke--not once--but two times.  On Sunday, I had another nomikai with a different school and we went to Nikubaru, which I love and of course went to karaoke again!!! (On Saturday, I went to a BBQ, so that was fun, too, but I will post that separately.)  It was a great end to the term.
